Job summary

Trinity Health’s payroll shared services team seeks an experienced payroll professional to ensure accurate, compliant employee payroll processing across multiple states. The role emphasizes confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with Payroll Managers and internal departments to maintain precise payroll records and timely payments.

You will analyze tax setups, garnishments, banking, and withholdings, support audits, and participate in system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with major coursework in bookkeeping, accounting or related field and 3–5 years of comprehensive payroll experience in a multi-entity, multi-state org.
• Payroll tax experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR information.
• Analyze and monitor payroll functions: tax setup/withholding, banking, garnishments, and processing.
• Support relationships with vendors and internal departments; audit and implement procedures for accurate withholdings and payments.
• Complete quarter- and year-end payroll activities and assist Payroll Managers.
• Load EIBs for employment record adjustments and support payroll production processes.
