Job summary

Texas Health is seeking a Payroll Specialist III to support payroll processes and resolve complex payroll issues from Arlington, TX. The role offers remote work with on-site HQ in Arlington and a hybrid option at manager's discretion.

You will partner with accounting and HR to ensure accurate payroll processing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, knowledge of PS/Oracle, and strong technical payroll skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years payroll experience required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll (PS) is preferred; Oracle Payroll experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and GL impacts.
• Experience with payroll implementations, integrations or process improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers complex payroll inquiries and tracks issue resolution for payroll-related problems.
• Researches and resolves complex payroll issues.
• Manages state and local tax issues and jurisdictional requirements for out-of-state workers.
• Prepares payroll-related weekly/monthly/year-end reporting.
• Works with General Ledger to ensure payroll entries are reflected in the GL.
• Performs special projects as assigned by leadership.
