Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing across multiple states.
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax and wage-hour laws.
• Experience handling payroll notices and IRS/state/local audits.
• Comfort with high-volume payroll for many employees.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll across multiple states and entities on a bi-weekly or semi-monthly schedule.
• Audit timekeeping data, hires, terminations, and pay changes before runs.
• Handle off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, garnishments, and bonuses.
• Ensure compliance with wage-hour laws across jurisdictions and reconcile data.
