Job summary

FALCATA, a defense technology company with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for exempt and nonexempt staff, with remote work options in the United States.

You will coordinate with HR, Accounting, and program managers, process semimonthly payroll using ADP and Deltek Costpoint, manage timekeeping, tax compliance, and payroll reconciliations, and protect confidential employee information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of payroll experience across multi-state environments.
• Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint or comparable systems.

Responsibilities

• Process semimonthly payroll using ADP and Costpoint; ensure accurate transmission between systems.
• Review timecards for completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
• Coordinate payroll deadlines with HR, accounting, and managers.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and reports; assist with timekeeping issues for government contracts.
• Support year-end payroll activities (W-2s, tax reporting).
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with laws and company policies.
