Job summary

Antylia Scientific, Vernon Hills, IL (Hybrid), is seeking a hands-on Sr. Payroll Specialist to own payroll for multi-state and Canadian employees. You will manage biweekly cycles, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with HR and ADP to optimize pay processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting (or related), 5–7+ years of payroll experience, and CPP certification preferred. Strong ADP knowledge and cross-border payroll experience (US & Canada) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years’ progressive payroll experience managing a comprehensive payroll process.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
• Extensive experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.
• Experience with multi-state payrolls and both exempt and non-exempt employees; US & Canada (Quebec) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full biweekly payroll cycle; audit, reconcile, and manage adjustments and pay files.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Handle time and attendance with managers; address payroll inquiries from staff and regulators.
• Collaborate with HR for correct pay codes and benefit deductions; liaise with ADP for withholding changes.
• Own year-end activities (W-2s, T-4), payroll tax reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
