Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a payroll professional to ensure accurate processing and timely recording of payroll data. The role supports bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles, garnishment handling, and year-end activities in a large healthcare system.

The position requires at least five years of payroll experience and strong knowledge of payroll regulations. On-site collaboration with HR and IT teams is essential to resolve payroll-related issues and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of payroll experience.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and timekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare more complex payrolls.
• Run the bi-weekly payroll process.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of garnishments.
• Maintain relationship with legal counsel on garnishment procedures.
• Prepare monthly payroll entries for year-end and distribute W-2s.
• Train and oversee Payroll Representatives.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll regulations and benefits.
• Ensure timely payroll tax deposits (bi-weekly/monthly).
• Research outstanding checks for unclaimed property reports.
• Collaborate with HR and IT to resolve payroll issues.
• Maintain regular attendance per Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Back up Payroll Manager and participate in system upgrades.
