Job summary

Gildan Activewear seeks a skilled payroll professional to manage the timely processing of Charleston and Jacksonville payrolls for a multi‑unit organization. You will ensure accurate hourly time punches, wage calculations, and deductions within ADP/Dayforce, and you will deposit receipts as part of a broader financial team.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience or a university degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems is essential, with flexibility to support

Qualifications

  • Experience processing hourly and salaried payroll for multiple business units.
  • Experience inputting garnishments and vacation for payroll systems.
  • Familiarity with ADP/Dayforce and payroll audits.
  • Accounting education or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process hourly and salaried payroll on a weekly/bi‑weekly basis.
  • Ensure accurate inputting of garnishments and vacations for import into ADP/Dayforce.
  • Coordinate pay rate changes, vacations, and deductions with HR.
  • Create payroll journal entries for JDE/E1 input.
  • Submit final payroll for approval to Financial/Distribution Director.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit teams for payroll audits.
  • Serve as backup payroll processing for EDEN/NDC.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
