Job summary

Gildan in Charleston is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the timely processing of Charleston and Jacksonville payrolls (hourly and salaried) for a multi-business unit using ADP/Dayforce, with emphasis on accuracy of time punches and wage calculations.

You will input garnishments, vacations, changes in pay rates, and prepare payroll journal entries for JDE/E1, while coordinating with Human Resources and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of payroll experience OR a university degree.
• Proficient with ADP/Dayforce and JDE/E1 integration.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly hourly and salaried payroll.
• Input garnishments and vacation data for imports.
• Coordinate pay-rate, vacation, and deduction changes with HR.
• Create payroll journal entries for JDE/E1.
• Support audit requests and monthly reporting.
• Serve as payroll backup for EDEN/NDC.
