Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) is seeking a Customer Success – Lead Payroll Analyst to lead payroll quality within a managed-service model from its Houston, TX HQ.

The role ensures payroll correctness and system integrity, coordinating MHIA HRIS with UKG and affiliates. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of payroll experience, multi-state expertise, advanced Excel, and strong collaboration across HR, Finance, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, IS or related field.
• Minimum of eight years in payroll, with managed-service experience.
• Experience holding outsourced payroll vendors accountable, multi-state US payroll.
• Strong Excel skills and data reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent communication across HR, Finance, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between MHIA, affiliates, and UKG for payroll delivery.
• Hold UKG to contracted standards for accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness.
• Validate payroll outputs against policy, regulations, and expectations.
• Manually calculate and recreate payroll scenarios to verify system outputs.
• Lead UAT, test scenarios, and validate changes affecting payroll results.
