Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Systems Management: Oversee payroll software systems, ensuring they are configured and updated for regulatory changes, policies, and employee data.
• Data Analysis: Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement; generate reports for management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state/local payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements for US & Canada.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Audits: Prepare and assist with internal and external payroll audits; maintain supporting documentation.
• Collaboration: Work with HR, finance, and other departments to coordinate payroll activities and drive improvements.
• Training and Support: Provide training on payroll processes and systems to stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in system upgrades, automation, and mergers/acquisitions related to payroll.
