The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of payroll regulations, coupled with experience using payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in high-volume environments.
• Experience leading or supervising payroll teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle payroll process for a large employee population
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in a high-volume environment
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end processes
• Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll-related issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
