Participate Learning is seeking a Sr. Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll for US and international staff, ensuring compliance with federal and state wage laws and accurate tax filings. The role emphasizes training staff on payroll processes and staying current with labor regulations.

The position is remote, with applications from NC residents preferred. Experience with Tax Navigator and payroll software, plus CPP certification, will help manage international tax statuses and tax orientations

Formación

• Experience in US and international payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Experience preparing certified payroll reports for government contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws.
• Maintain records for audits and ensure DOL compliance.
• Process payroll including timekeeping, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions for US and international employees.
• Ensure timely payroll runs and resolve discrepancies.
