7Seventy is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance in a remote environment. You will handle tax calculations, filings, and year-end support while collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 3–5 years of payroll tax experience, with strong Excel and tax reporting system skills. This role offers a remote work setup and competitive compensation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Experience with payroll and tax reporting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with iSolved and MasterTax is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to payroll tax inquiries from employers and government agencies.
• Register new state, local, and unemployment tax accounts.
• Calculate, process, and reconcile federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Maintain tax records and documentation.
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly payroll tax returns.
• Support year-end processes and tax form issuance.
• Stay current on payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
