Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for the North America Shared Service Center Payroll Team. You will support high-volume payroll operations, resolve questions, and partner with HR, HRIS, and Benefits to ensure accurate processing.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, accuracy, and timely payroll processing across systems such as UltiPro, Dimensions, and Workday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US & CAN work experience in a payroll role, preferably in a 3rd party payroll or shared service environment.
• 4+ years in customer service related field and ability to demonstrate strong customer relationship skills.
• Experience with top tier payroll and HRIS systems (UltiPro, Dimensions, Workday or similar).
• Payroll audit, control, quality assurance and/or tax management experience.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill day-to-day functions of the payroll service team including Dimensions timecard maintenance and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Manage relationships within SLAs and provide research, resolution, and support to stakeholders.
• Act as Level 3 Customer Experience contact for payroll inquiries via multiple channels.
• Lead process improvements and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support leaves and calculation of supplemental benefit payments.
• Mentor analysts to elevate payroll knowledge.
