Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Payroll Service Manager to lead a team of 4-6 analysts across NA payroll operations. You will drive accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience while partnering with Human Resources, HRIS and Benefits to ensure timely payroll processing and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and strong communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a complex payroll or shared service environment.
• 4+ years in customer service or related field with strong customer relationships.
• Experience with top-tier payroll and HRIS systems (UltiPro, Kronos, Workday or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve requests with pre-defined and creative solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills for varied audiences.
• Payroll audit, control, quality assurance and/or tax management experience.
• Payroll accounting including GL posting, accruals and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a team of 4-6 payroll professionals to deliver high-quality payroll services.
• Manage day-to-day payroll team activities within SLAs and audit controls.
• Collaborate with HR, HRIS, Benefits and vendors to ensure accurate processing.
• Produce reports and present results to stakeholders from frontline staff to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and project initiatives across payroll processes.
