You will lead payroll operations, validate calculations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, Tax, and external vendors, drive process improvements, and contribute to year-end activities like W-2 processing while leveraging systems such as

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, validation, and processing of payroll for all employees.
• Review payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefit withholdings for accuracy.
• Ensure payrolls are processed on time and meet service levels.
• Serve as escalation point for payroll inquiries and issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Support year-end activities, including W-2 processing and tax reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports and dashboards to support decisions.
