Job summary

Safelite Group is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple states and companies, including audits and issue resolution.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, implement process improvements, provide training, and maintain compliance with tax laws while acting as a payroll SME for stakeholders, vendors, and new hires.

This role is remote with Eastern Time core hours and reports to the Payroll Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high volume environment.
• CPP or FPC certification is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with ADP, UKG, Workday, or Oracle Fusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in a multi-state and multi-company environment.
• Research and resolve complex payroll and timekeeping issues.
• Provide payroll system support including executing payroll runs, reporting, auditing and testing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on payroll projects and process improvements.
• Define payroll processes and controls and collaborate with systems to implement changes.
• Act as SME for payroll processes and provide guidance and training to team members.
• Guide business partners and employees regarding payroll compliance and changes.
