Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to run and safeguard payroll across states and multiple legal entities as it consolidates acquisitions onto its payroll platform. This senior, independent role reports to the Payroll Manager and is remote-based in Rocklin, CA.

You will own multi-state payroll tax compliance, reconcile to the general ledger in Dynamics 365 Business Central, map acquired payrolls, and support audits and payroll controls while partnering with HR and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent payroll experience.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, multi-state.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar systems; California payroll knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to map pay codes during acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and off-cycle payrolls in Paylocity across entities.
• Own multi-state payroll tax compliance (federal, state, local).
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger in Dynamics 365 BC.
• Lead acquisitions payroll migrations and first combined payrolls.
• Support audits, SOC reporting, and payroll controls.
