Job summary

Vetsource, a remote-friendly employer, seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll across multiple states, including taxes, levies, and garnishments. You’ll reconcile payroll, generate reports, and ensure compliance while supporting audits and cross-border payroll processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in payroll with proficiency in WagePoint, Workday, ADP, or Paychex, and strong Excel skills. This is a remote role with PST adherence and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• 5+ years in HR or Finance with at least 2 years in payroll administration.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state bi-weekly and ad-hoc payroll for associates accurately and timely.
• Generate payroll reporting and support quarterly and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and taxes.
• Assist with audits and support Canadian payroll when needed.
