Treace Medical Concepts in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst for a hybrid role. You will ensure accurate multi-state payroll, maintain records, reconcile accounts, and support close activities while aligning with federal, state, and local requirements.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to improve processes, stay current on regulatory changes, and strengthen internal controls. Prior experience with SOX and payroll systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of direct payroll processing experience.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll and supporting audits and monthly close.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and internal controls.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control design.

Responsibilities

• Process and review multi-state payrolls for accuracy and timely transmission.
• Maintain payroll records, conduct data audits and prepare journal entries.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close including W-2 processing.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and tax coding.
• Partner with HR on changes, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Prepare payroll reports for management and auditors and support audits.
