Software Engineer, Payments Quality, will own quality standards across core payment systems, writing AI-assisted automated regression suites and validating high-throughput workflows. You will partner with engineers, tech leads, and product to ensure zero-downtime, accurate processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering focused on quality engineering.
• Experience building automated test suites in Java, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST API testing and microservices validation.
• Experience with performance, load, and stress testing at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and embed quality benchmarks for Payments Acceptance, with automated guardrails that enable end-to-end validation without slowing feature teams.
• Drive high-concurrency load, stress, and latency testing to prevent outages during peak periods.
• Pioneer AI-native software engineering focused on quality, integrating AI-assisted tooling into test creation and data generation.
• Build high-performance emulators for external systems and partner integrations.
• Implement telemetry-driven test environments to monitor behavior under load and guide preventative fixes.
• Mentor teammates on quality engineering best practices and automated testing.
