Job summary

VGS, the trust infrastructure for modern payments, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer, Payments Quality. You will be a key technical practitioner and quality champion on our Payments Engineering team, owning and enforcing world-class quality standards across core payment systems.

You’ll write AI-assisted test strategies, build automated regression suites, and craft high-concurrency testing to ensure zero downtime and flawless accuracy in a scalable, enterprise-grade payments platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering focusing on quality engineering.
• Experience designing automated test suites and performance tests.
• Hands-on with REST API testing and microservices validation.
• Experience embedding quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing and synthetic data generation.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy for Payments Acceptance and automated guardrails.
• Design and run high-concurrency load, stress, and latency tests.
• Integrate AI-assisted testing and emulator development for external systems.
• Implement telemetry-driven testing and observability (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Mentor teams on automated testing and golden paths for QA.
