Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of healthcare scheduling experience OR 6 months in a UKHS patient scheduling role.
• Proven knowledge of EPIC EMR scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume calls and schedule, reschedule, and cancel clinic visits.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage referrals.
• Use scheduling modules such as Beacon; update EMR workqueues as needed.
• Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate scheduling calendars.
• Coordinate scheduling across imaging, laboratory, clinic, and procedures.
• Communicate with providers and patients to minimize scheduling errors.
