Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of healthcare-related scheduling or call center experience.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR and MyChart messaging.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to a high-volume of incoming calls and schedules appointments including telehealth and procedures.
• Registers patient information during scheduling, checks insurance, and processes referrals.
• Manages appointment requests and coordinates with providers and clinical team for continuity of care.
• Trains new staff on scheduling workflows and department protocols.
• Maintains accurate scheduling records and coordinates tests and anesthesia studies as needed.
