Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Patient Registration to facilitate new patient onboarding and transition to home/AIS services.

You will collaborate with Sales to prepare patients for services and ensure a smooth transition with cross-functional teamwork in discharge, nursing, and delivery. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong customer service, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Internal Candidates: 1 year experience as a Patient Registration Specialist.
• Healthcare billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to secure nursing and delivery.
• Prepare and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Assist patients with upfront payments and connect them to financial assistance as needed.
• Support clean claims on hold and denial management by following up on missing paperwork.
• Assist supervisor/manager with special assignments and act as backup for Lead Specialist.
