Job summary

Option Care Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to guide new patients through onboarding, coordinating with sales, pharmacy, and nursing to ensure a smooth transition to home/AIS. The role emphasizes fast-paced execution and exceptional customer service as you secure documentation and payments.

You will work onsite 9a–5:30p ET, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support supervisor and manager with special assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing.
• Manages documentation for new referrals and secures upfront payments or directs to financial assistance.
• Supports medical billing activities and follows up on paperwork for clean claims or denials.
• Assists Nurse Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed.
• Ensures smooth transition onboarding to home/AIS and related processes.
