The Senior Specialist, Patient Registration collaborates with Sales to prepare referrals and ensures smooth transitions, while supporting training and special projects as needed. The role requires multitasking across sales, operations, and nursing, strong customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast past environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality focus.
• High degree of customer service skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to secure nursing and delivery.
• Create, communicate and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Assist patients with upfront payment and connect them to financial assistance when needed.
• Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and manage denials.
• Assist Supervisor/Manager with special assignments and act as backup for Lead Specialist.
