Job summary

Care Resource is seeking a Registration Specialist to manage in-person and remote client registrations, interviews, and data entry. You will verify insurance and demographic information, explain agency policies, and ensure all forms are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher in Social Work recommended.
• Some college coursework or degree beneficial for supporting client services.

Responsibilities

• Register clients in person or by phone and collect required information.
• Interview clients and family members to gather demographic and financial data.
• Review forms for accuracy and ensure completion of information.
• Verify clients’ legal name and health insurance details; document in EMR/records.
• Explain agency policies, rights and services; obtain signatures and witness where required.
• Complete registrations same day or within 24 hours.
• Answer inquiries about registration and available services, including Sliding Fee Scale.
