Optum is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to join our team in Massachusetts. Under supervision, you will handle incoming patient inquiries, assist with appointments, and support an interdisciplinary care delivery model to improve patient access.

The role emphasizes customer service, HIPAA privacy, and problem solving in a fast-paced call center environment. Requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma; EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience and/or medical call center experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and a patient-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Screens incoming patient inquiries to determine appropriate handling by the Patient Service Representative or escalation to others.
• Provide courteous, patient-focused service and solve problems.
• Support data collection for reports and follow-up on required studies.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and coordination to optimize clinic utilization.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and protect patient information.
