Qualifications

• Patient Access role experience or healthcare administration knowledge preferred.
• Ability to collect and verify demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Proficient with computers and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner.
• Collect, verify, and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into electronic systems.
• Schedule appointments and confirm patient information.
• Educate patients on insurance coverage, billing policies, and organizational procedures.
• Process patient payments and provide receipts.
• Obtain and track pre-authorizations for services and procedures as required.
• Address patient questions, concerns, and requests promptly, escalating complex issues to senior Patient Access staff or management when appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
