Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Administration required.
• 2+ years of experience in patient access, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients during registration with courtesy and professionalism.
• Perform advanced patient registration tasks, including complex scenarios.
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information into the EHR.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with clinical departments.
• Handle scheduling for specialized services and follow-up appointments.
• Verify patient contact information and appointment details.
• Collaborate with insurance providers and billing to resolve issues.
• Assist in training and mentoring newer staff on complex cases.
• Provide patients with information about registration, scheduling, and financial responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive patient experience by minimizing wait times and ensuring a welcoming environment.
