Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Good typing and organizational skills required.
• Three years of office experience required; medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review charges and coding under supervision.
• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices.
• Perform pre-registration tasks including scheduling visits and procedures.
• Greet patients, answer and triage calls; handle clerical tasks as needed.
• May cover different offices and mentor junior staff.
• Assign work as needed to staff in the SPG groups.
