Southcoast Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Women and Children location in Fall River, MA. This day-shift role (8:30am–5:00pm) offers a 40-hour work week and opportunities for growth in a supportive, mission-driven health system.

The position emphasizes front-line patient interactions, administrative duties, and coordination across offices, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good computer and typing skills required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• One year of medical office experience or graduation from a medical secretary program preferred.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 required or exemption noted.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practice(s).
• Schedule patient visits, tests and surgical procedures.
• Greet patients, answer and direct telephone calls.
• Perform clerical and administrative functions.
• May cover different offices as needed or directed.
