Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fairhaven, MA is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our primary care team. This full-time, day-shift role (40 hours) involves checking in/out patients, scheduling visits and tests, and providing friendly, efficient service at the front desk.

The successful candidate will have strong computer and typing skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good typing and computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.
• One year of medical office experience or related program preferred.
• Vaccination against flu and COVID-19 required or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices.
• Schedule patient visits, tests and procedures.
• Greet patients and direct calls; perform clerical tasks.
• May cover different offices as needed.
