Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Women and Children location in Fall River, MA. This full-time daytime role (40 hours, 8:30am–5:00pm) involves front-desk patient check-in/out, scheduling, and clerical support to keep patient flow smooth and accurate.

Ideal candidates bring high school education, strong customer service skills, and experience in a medical office. Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good computer and typing skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practice(s).
• Schedule patient visits, tests and procedures.
• Greet patients and direct telephone calls.
• Perform various clerical and administrative functions.
• May cover different offices as needed or directed.
