Southcoast Health in Wareham, MA is seeking a Patient Access Representative to check-in/out patients, handle pre-registration, and support scheduling. This 24-hour role operates on a day shift from 9:00am to 3:30pm, four days a week, at the Surgery location in Wareham.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer and typing skills required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• One year of medical office practice experience or medical secretary training preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt with signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practice(s).
• Perform pre-registration: scheduling visits, tests and procedures.
• Greet patients, answer and triage telephone calls.
• Perform various clerical and administrative functions.
• May cover different offices as needed or directed.
