• 1-3 years of experience in patient access, healthcare registration, or related healthcare administrative role.
• Experience with insurance verification, benefits review, and/or registration workflows.
• High school diploma or GED required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across ED, main registration, admitting, and payer workflows.
• Handle moderately complex registration and encounter scenarios, including insurance verification and benefits review.
• Communicate patient financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate.
• Support operational continuity by flexing across access points during high-volume periods.
• Serve as a resource to PAR I staff on workflows, systems usage, and problem-solving.
• Escalate complex or exception-based issues per established guidelines.
