Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a customer service oriented professional to schedule specialty referral appointments and handle appointment changes. You will operate outbound call center services across clinical areas and answer inbound patient calls to support access to medical services.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong English communication, experience with data entry, and proficiency with common office equipment, supporting a high-volume healthcare scheduling environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service or hospitality or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience using office equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner).
• Experience with data entry and retrieval in a computer system.
• Ability to work at a pace appropriate to workload and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service to schedule specialty referral appointments or modify appointments.
• Offer outbound call center services across clinical areas with understanding of clinic scheduling requirements.
• Take inbound calls from patients seeking medical services as needed.
