Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced skills with multiple tasks in a health office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common insurance types.
• Prior FMH hospital registration, prior authorization, and/or scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist registration/scheduling representatives and provide training support.
• Perform scheduling and registration processes; verify insurance coverage.
• Document information accurately in patient records for reimbursement.
• Explain financial policies and assist with resources and payment options.
• Act as liaison between patient, PFS department, and payor to improve receivables.
