Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks seeks a Registration and Scheduling professional to support daily operations, ensure accurate patient access, and train new team members. The role includes handling demographics, insurance verification, and coordinating diagnostic and procedure appointments across departments.

You will partner with clinical staff and leadership to optimize scheduling workflows, resolve escalations, and maintain accurate records while upholding excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Three+ years of medical clerical experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and various insurance payor types.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration and scheduling duties including patient demographics, insurance verification, and coordinating diagnostic and procedural appointments across departments.
• Process STAT priority orders including scheduling, pre-registration, authorization, and documentation in the patient chart.
• Calculate, collect and process co-pays, payments, or outstanding balances as needed.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated patient concerns and resolve complex issues to ensure seamless patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership to improve scheduling accuracy and resource utilization.
