Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Registration and Scheduling Lead to support daily patient access services. You will handle registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and co-pay collection while training new staff and resolving complex issues.

This role acts as a liaison among patients, clinical staff and leadership, ensuring accurate records and efficient scheduling. You will monitor waitlists, assist with regulatory compliance, and contribute to process

Formación

• Requires Skills Normally Acquired Over Three (3) or More Years of Medical Clerical Experience.
• Must possess the ability to function independently and float within two or more areas of the clinic.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and a broad understanding of common insurance and payor types and authorization requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform registration and scheduling duties including gathering patient demographics and verifying insurance.
• Process STAT priority orders and obtain authorizations.
• Calculate, collect and process co-pays and balances as needed.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated patient concerns and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff to improve scheduling accuracy and patient flow.
• Mentor and train registration and scheduling staff to ensure accuracy.
