Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is seeking a highly experienced leader to oversee Patient Registration and Patient Access operations across the organization. The role directs centralized registration, supports enterprise PAS education, and drives workflow standardization to improve eligibility verification and revenue cycle performance.

The ideal candidate will have substantial supervisory experience in patient access, deep knowledge of payer requirements, and strong change-management

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years supervising Patient Access; 5+ years in patient access, registration, or revenue cycle.
• Knowledge: ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, payer rules, and third‑party billing requirements.
• Certifications: NAHAM and/or HFMA certification within 18 months of hire.
• Skills: leadership, training, coaching, audit follow-up, and performance improvement across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads Patient Registration and related Patient Access operations at multiple sites.
• Supervises 10+ employees, providing leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
• Delivers organization-wide PAS training, workflow education, and competency validation.
• Leads enterprise PAS training initiatives and ensures standardized front-end practices.
• Maintains knowledge of payer rules and supports compliant registration and eligibility workflows.
• Develops and enforces registration policies, procedures, and training materials.
