Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to support patients, caregivers and providers with education, access coordination and insurance navigation.

The role is fully remote, covering Southern California regions, with travel for meetings as needed. You will work within the Patient Services team to minimize access barriers and ensure compliant, high-quality support during product launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience, preferably in Patient Services.
• Proven success as a field-based team member (e.g., FRM, PAL, Market Access).
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy, HUB models.
• Experience with rare diseases or specialty therapeutics is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, communication and analytical skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills and proactive improvement mindset.
• Independent worker with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers for education and questions on access and administration.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians, infusion centers, pharmacies and payers and document details in CRM.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and care teams with a tailored communication plan.
• Educate patients and healthcare professionals on insurance coverage and therapy access.
• Provide information on affordability resources as needed.
• Collaborate across a matrix organization to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs within the assigned region to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute training of ViridianCares with internal and external employees when appropriate.
• Foster a culture of compliance, collaboration, patient-centricity, and accountability.
