Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics is seeking a remote Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to support patients, caregivers, physicians, and infusion staff across the Dallas region. You will educate on medication access, coordinate with payers and providers, and help patients navigate insurance and affordability resources.

Reporting to the Director of Patient Access Liaisons, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, monitor region KPIs, and contribute to product launch plans while maintaining a high standard

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals, preferably in Patient Services as a patient-facing contributor.
• Experience as a field-based team member (e.g., FRM, PAL, Market Access).
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy, HUB models, and overcoming access challenges.
• Experience with rare disease or specialty therapeutics is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement.
• Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers for supplemental education and questions related to medication access and administration of Viridian therapies.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians, infusions centers, pharmacies and payers to prioritize the needs, experiences, and well-being of patients and document details in CRM.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and caregivers by creating a communication plan tailored to the needs of the patient and their care team.
• Educate patients, healthcare professionals and infusion center staff on insurance coverage and the process for obtaining therapy.
• Provide information on affordability resources, as needed.
• Collaborate effectively across a matrix organization to align priorities, share insights, communicate seamlessly and resolve issues.
• Within the assigned region, monitor KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute training of ViridianCares with internal and external employees where appropriate.
