Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support patients and caregivers, educate on access and administration, and coordinate with providers and payers across a remote Southern California region.

The role emphasizes collaboration, compliance, and high-quality patient experience, with travel up to 50% and a focus on complex access challenges in biotech therapies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in biotech/pharmaceuticals, preferably in Patient Services.
• Field-based experience (e.g., FRM, PAL, Market Access) is preferred.
• Knowledge of payer dynamics, HUB models and access challenges.
• Experience with rare disease or specialty therapeutics is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients and caregivers for education on access and administration of Viridian therapies.
• Coordinate treatment with physicians, infusion centers, pharmacies and payers and document CRM details.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and caregivers with tailored communication plans.
• Educate patients and healthcare professionals on insurance coverage and therapy access processes.
• Provide information on affordability resources as needed.
• Collaborate across a matrix organization to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs within the assigned region to ensure performance.
• Execute training of ViridianCares with internal and external staff.
• Foster a culture of compliance, patient-centricity and accountability.
