Job summary

Compass Pathways plc is seeking a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to execute site-level patient engagement strategies, support REMS certification, and provide reimbursement education to healthcare stakeholders. The role is field-based in Charlotte, NC or Roanoke, VA, reporting to the Regional Director, Field Patient Access.

The PAL will strengthen site access readiness, address patient access barriers, and collaborate with matrix teams while maintaining non-promotional role boundaries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharmaceutical/biotech/specialty healthcare.
• Experience supporting access and reimbursement processes, including specialty pharmacy programs, coverage verification, prior authorizations and appeals.
• Experience enabling patient progression from referral through treatment initiation by removing barriers.
• Experience partnering with treatment sites to assess needs and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
• Strong planning, organization, accountability, and data-driven execution to address access challenges.
• Experience collaborating with matrix partners while maintaining appropriate role boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support REMS certification and enrolment at sites.
• Enable site access readiness and strengthen account relationships.
• Provide reimbursement education on coverage, coding, payment and affordability programs.
• Educate on case management processes for consented patients.
• Identify and troubleshoot case-level access barriers through approved pathways.
• Coordinate patient treatment logistics across REMS, HUB and distribution partners.
• Collaborate on cross-functional handoffs and maintain compliant documentation.
• Develop and execute account-level business plans reflecting site access priorities.
• Maintain non-promotional boundaries and avoid promotional activities.
