Job summary

Viridian Therapeutics is seeking a remote Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to support patients across Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Missouri. You will educate patients, coordinate treatment with physicians, infusion centers, pharmacies and payers, and help navigate insurance and affordability resources.

Reporting to the Director of Patient Access Liaisons, the PAL will contribute to product launch plans, monitor region KPIs, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceuticals experience, preferably in Patient Services.
• Proven success as a field-based team member (e.g., FRM, PAL, Market Access).
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy and HUB models.
• Experience with rare diseases or specialty therapeutics is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers for supplemental education and questions related to medication access and administration of Viridian therapies
• Coordinate treatment with physicians, infusions centers, pharmacies and payers to prioritize the needs, experiences, and well-being of patients and document details in CRM
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and caregivers by creating a communication plan tailored to the needs of the patient and their care team
• Educate patients, healthcare professionals and infusion center staff on insurance coverage and the process for obtaining therapy
• Provide information on affordability resources, as needed
• Collaborate effectively across a matrix organization to align priorities, share insights, communicate seamlessly and resolve issues
• Within the assigned region, monitor KPIs to ensure optimal performance
• Execute training of ViridianCares with internal and external employees where appropriate
• Foster a culture ofcompliance, collaboration, patient-centricity, and accountability
