Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is seeking a Pastry Cook 3 to join our culinary team. Reporting to the Pastry Chef, you will craft pastry items, ensure quality, and contribute to menu development in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for cuisine and high standards.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Collaborates with team to deliver flawless final products.
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, oven).
• Proficient knife skills required.
• Must stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience; luxury hospitality preferred.
• English reading, writing and speaking.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastry items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Stock and store products with proper refrigeration.
• Develop new items for à la carte and catering menus.
• Handle food according to safety regulations.
• Display baked goods on mobile carts per specifications.
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and items.
• Other duties as assigned.
