Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Pastry Cook IV to join our culinary team. This role offers the chance to craft innovative pastry creations in a dynamic environment focused on exceptional guest experiences.

We are looking for a candidate with pastry passion, strong English communication, and at least 6 months of related work experience. Legal US work authorization is required, with full-time, on-site hours and competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of culinary or related work experience.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment in the Pastry Shop.
• High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastry items according to guest orders with consistent quality and following recipe cards, and set up mise en place for service.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time while ensuring not to prepare beyond estimated needs.
• Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment including fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, slicer, oven and other tools.
• Rotate perishables, check pars for shift use, manage storage and assist in cost-control plans.
