Job summary

Akamai seeks a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to mentor partners across the sales cycle and act as a technical evangelist for Akamai products and services. You will help partners demonstrate value, enable adoption, and assist in closing deals.

You will collaborate with Channel Managers, Partner Account Executives, services & support teams to ensure partner readiness and success in APAC/Japan markets, with remote work options and flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
• 7 years in a customer/partner facing role such as pre-sales, account/project management, or consulting.
• 7+ years in Internet Technologies such as HTTP, DNS, and SSL.
• Detailed knowledge of security including WAAP (WAF), DDoS, Firewall, and VPN.
• Understanding of channel go-to-market strategy and Cloud Security/CDN solutions.

Responsibilities

• Working with partners to accelerate new customer acquisition.
• Enabling partners to market, sell, implement and support Akamai solutions.
• Conducting training and enablement workshops for partner teams.
• Defining a partner-specific enablement plan aligned with sales strategy.
• Collaborating with Channel Sales to manage partner progress and success.
